Does it work for EWS, OBC, SC, and ST categories?
Yes. Select your category and the predictor automatically adjusts closing ranks using category-specific multipliers derived from JoSAA historical data. For reserved categories, closing ranks are effectively relaxed based on past counselling trends.
How does the Home State quota work?
NITs reserve 50% of their seats for students from the state where the NIT is located. If your domicile state matches an NIT's state, you get access to Home State quota seats which typically have higher (more relaxed) closing ranks compared to Other State seats.
What is the difference between High, Medium, and Low probability?
HIGH means your rank is well above the cutoff (you're very likely to get this college-branch). MEDIUM means your rank is around the cutoff - it could go either way. LOW means your rank is below the cutoff but close enough that later counselling rounds or seat vacancies could help.
Can I use this for JoSAA 2026 counselling?
